Learning to be ridden can be a good mental break from the daily routine of jogging and training
RUS horses have had improved harness performances
A greater variety of post-racing career options for horses who can be ridden
RUS turns each participant into a goodwill ambassador for the entire harness industry
RUS lets people who don't drive but love to compete a chance to race
RUS has drawn new people in from other horse sports, expanding the visibility of harness racing
